What is the structure of shale shaker

To separate the cuttings out of the mud and get clear fluid, we use solid control system and equipments in the oilfield. Normally the drilling fluid circulation system is consist of five phases. The first one is shale shaker which is utilized to separate the solids with diameter above 75 μm and the smaller particles will flow into the mud tanks from where the drilling fluid will enter into the next phase of solid control system to be further separated. The solids diameter for desander to be separated is 45~74 μm, and the solid diameter for desilter is 15~20μm.

KOSUN shale shaker is consist of screen basket, screen mesh, vibration motor, explosion-proof switch, AWD angle adjustment system, spring, tighten device, feeder. etc. AWD angle adjustment system means “Adjustment While Drilling”, which can comply -1° to +5° adjustment of the screen basket. The tighten device must be closed in transportion of shale shaker, and open when shale shaker working at site.
