Aiming at the more stricter requirements of relevant national laws and regulations on the oilfield environmental protection and the increasingly elaborative demands of drilling construction units on the waste management level, basing on the practical situations and having the future in mind, the leadership of Xi’an Kosun Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. invited a group of well-known scholars from home and abroad to conduct a specific training on the oilfield waste for the employees of Kosun in the factory.

On June 5, 2013, Mr. Heif, a training lecturer and expert with rich experience in oilfield waste management, conducted a series of professional and wonderful lectures on waste management to some employees of Kosun in Kosun Jingwei Solids Control Equipment Factory in Xi’an Jingwei Development Zone, and brought inspirations for professional technology and in-depth pondering over future market demands to the team of Kosun from the waste management concept, the current prevailing treatment technology and how to develop customers.

Mr. Heif has great attainments in oilfield technology management. He once worked for Halliburton Company and then worked for 17 years at M-I SWACO, and also possessed experiences in overseas assignments for other relevant petroleum companies, so he has very rich field experience in drilling sites, especially in drilling fluid and drilling waste management.

The drilling wastes produced at oilfields will seriously pollute the oilfield environment. Kosun devotes itself to high-efficiency and high-precision scientific treatment on drilling wastes at oilfields, making them reach and even exceed the national discharge standards, and thus realizing a virtuous cycle of energy exploration and environmental protection. In the future, Kosun will continually enhance the technical levels of employees by diversified means, merge and absorb international edge concepts about waste management, and provide more efficient and reliable waste management services for the global oilfield drilling industry.
