Jet Mud Mixer for Drilling Mud Circulation System

Jet mud mixer is used to make up drilling fluid or increase total amount of the drilling fluid, change the fluid density, viscosity, and dehydration. When making up again, put the materials of drilling fluid (such as betonies and barite powder) and corresponding chemical additives (such as polymer) into the recycle tank through the jet unit. If put them directly, the materials of drilling fluid and chemical additives will be deposited largely or dump together and we can’t obtain diffused and well-proportioned drilling fluid.

Bentonite, polymers and other powder additives have traditionally been added to assist in achieving the properties needed from drilling mud such as viscosity for hole cleaning, water loss control and filter cake build up. And installation for the mixing pump and hoppers are flexible from KOSUN, either on a single skid or at tank end skid or even separately with hopper on tank top, and pump at tank side. All flexible design is to make the complete mud system to be compact and user friendly.
