The drilling mud tank is an essential part of the drilling circulation system. Its function is to carry the mud from the wellhead to the mud pump, and separate the solid particles in the mud by filling the corresponding solid-state control equipment step by step. The mud weight mixing system is used for mixing, so that the mud can meet the requirements of drilling technology. Drilling mud tank can be divided into supply tank, sand tank, intermediate tank, storage tank, slurry tank, etc.
The auxiliary equipment on the drilling mud tank generally includes:
Drilling fluid shale shaker, vacuum deaerator, sand remover, mud remover, liquid and gas separator, mixer, sand pump, shear pump, centrifuge, electronic ignition device, mixing funnel, jet mixing device, mud gun, etc.
Functions of the drilling mud tank supporting equipment:
1. The drilling fluid shaker can separate the solid particles in the mud step by step;
2. The vacuum degasser can remove harmful gas in the mud during the mud circulation;
3. The desander and desilter is mainly used for further separation of small particles in mud treated by the mud shaker after the drilling fluid shaker;
4. The liquid-gas separator is mainly used for the treatment of large bubbles in drilling fluid;
5. Mud agitator is mainly used for stirring and mixing of drilling fluid to prevent solid particles of drilling fluid from depositing in its tank circulation system, so that the performance of circulating drilling fluid is stable and the mixing is even.
